Sky Garden is the highest public garden in London and it’s completely free!
Based at 20 Fenchurch Street, Sky Garden has 360 degree views of London and includes several different restaurants and bars.
The Sky Garden has had some pretty mixed reviews since it first opened in 2015, with some people being left disappointed. For me it was a great experience of seeing views of London I have never seen before and for free!
1. Book in advance
Bookings open up 3 weeks before on their website, so if you want a prime time then you have to be quick. I would highly recommend going at sunset (obvs).
1 – Covent Garden 2 – Leicester Square 3 – Brick Lane 4 – Trafalgar Square 5 – London Eye
Last week I took my mam to London, it was her birthday the previous month (was the only time I could get off work 🙁 ) We’ve been together a few times but had never stayed more than a day! My mam took us to all the standard touristsy places when me and my brother were younger but it was so nice to see the places again not that I’m older and was able to document the time for myself. We stayed in the Covent Garden Travelodge which I would defiantly recommend if you’re look to stay somewhere in central London for cheap. The staff were so helpful and it was such a great location (not sponsored haha) but yeah, day 1 we got there about 10am literally dumped our stuff after check in and went straight out and headed around the corner to shop in covent and just take in the London atmosphere. That night after a very long day of shopping we headed back out to Leicester Square for some food in China Town and browse Soho. If you haven’t been to Leicester Square and Soho at night, PLEASE GO!! The atmosphere is amazing.
Day 2 we got up early to go to brick lane and shoreditch to check out the highly anticipated American Apparel factory outlet, and I wasn’t disappointed and I probably spent wayyyyyyy to much money haha! We headed to Oxford street, Regent and Bond street lusting over stuff that I can not afford 🙁 haha (one day!!)
We also did all the tourist attractions such as Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the Mall, V&A, National Portrait Gallery, Soho and loads more all in 3 days.
We were both so shattered by the end that the journey home we just slept haha but I had such a great time I didn’t want to leave neither did my mum. And it was so nice to chill with my mum as since I’ve moved back out I hadn’t seen her much.
There are more photos on my Instagram to check out if you want to! 🙂 hope you’re all enjoying your bank holiday, I have work at 7am so an early night is in order for me.

So I’m back from london, had a lovely few days and spent wayyyyy to much money. But now back to reality of doing stupid amount of hours in a stupid job when i should be in uni/doing uni work but its my best friends 21st on friday so i have something to look forward too.
I may do a london haul tomorrow, depending the lighting conditions when i get home from work. I managed to pick up everything i wanted including the sleek brow kit which i have to admit is too light for me 🙁 I bought the darkest shade they have to, so I’m kinda disappointed with that but i may give it a few more tries and work something out. I managed to check out the new Monki store which was amazing and bought some lovely things but i actually took back one thing from there as i realised i bought it for the sake of it and couldn’t justify paying the price but i may be naughty and pick it up on payday haha :/
While i was there i managed to go and check out Trafalgar square and leicester square at night. I really wanted to go see the Olympic countdown statue they have which was amazing and so colourful. Also managed to hit the Supreme store (for my boyfriend) where we had some free goodies. Oooo also they have this charity egg hunt all around london, everyone we found we had to take a picture. We can across the one above whilst walking to trafalgar square in an open derelict store, UV colours that changed looked amazing!
On thursday me and my mum went to london for the day. We got the bus up ridiculously early but was stuck in traffic for ages, but when we finally got there the weather was surprisingly good, not too cold and no rain!
We first went to the Natural History Museum, as my mum had never been before bought some lovely souvenirs, we battled through leicester square and oxford street, it was so busy!
So this weekend me and my boyfriend had an early christmas (but i had to work all weekend so that sucked) because we aint going to see each other now until new years eve. He spoilt me rotten and he’s amazing. He said he would buy me a pug and he did (a cuddly toy) but i love him! haha He also bought me some MAC brushes and lipsticks and other bits and bobs, and then finally he bought me a Viv West purse, ahhhh! i love it, i shall put it in a blog post soon.
